Chicago Bears I think
**PJ waited to build Navy before he let them play but once ready he set up a game against GSU. Expect Tech to play GSU in a few years replacing regular I-AA foe Samford.
**Where is he now?
This tells me that Paul has that "kick ass" mentality; something, which we have been lacking since 2001. I'm ****in' pumped!!!**
not really true. PJ had no intentions of ever playing GSU at Navy. But in 06' Brian Van Gorder took over at GSU and scrapped the long standing triple option offense that PJ made famous there. So when Van Gorder became coach he bad mouthed the offense even doing a commercial stating that fans needed to come to GSU football games. There is no option he said. PJ went to the media and questioned how in the world GSU ever won 6 National Titles with that little ol' offense. So to prove a point he had GSU scheduled. The game was scheduled just a few months after BVG had made those stupid comments.
And if both coaches would have stayed at their respective schools, you can bet PJ would have put a whippin on GSU. That's why he scheduled it. He wanted to make a major statement to the new GSU coach.
