They have finally gotten to the bottom of the academic scandals at 'awBarn' and 'ewetee'.
It seems that both SEC schools had numerous players academically ineligible after spring semester, but they were always 'magically' eligible for football by fall semester. After a thorough investigation by the NCAA, and with the help of some whistle blowers, the mystery has been solved. It seems that both 'awBarn' and 'ewetee' were giving their players credit for attending Vacation Bible School. It seems all the little VBS gold stars on their transcripts gave away the scheme.

Well, I am attending the other tech in Georgia and am majoring in something that I could not at Georgia Tech, and I am one of the most rabid Tech fans around. Ask my family and friends. So, Tech fans are not limited to those that are fortunate enough to go to Tech.

I have to say though, I was thinking of going to auburn at one time, but then I visited the campus and all thoughts of that were promptly eliminated. Definately not the place for me. The professors seemed ok, but the student body was not as impressive.

I say dress the kid's room entirely in white and gold, and have tech logos all over the room. Then, if you wish, allow the kid to wear the auburn colors for 5 minutes to make your wife happy.

Play audio recordings of old Tech games to him while he is asleep. Make him a believer. Drive down the point in every non-obvious way.

I am really glad that I am no longer in Columbus, GA though, too many auburn and ugag fans that represent the shallow end of the gene pool.

I graduated from Southern Tech, too, class of '81. While not a GT alumnus, I, too, am one of the most rabid GT fans around. We're twenty year season ticket holders every year since 1982.

Glad to have you guys as Tech fans. I've got some buddies that went to Southern Tech....and they're GT fans as well. Us TECH folks need to stick together.
