Mine has to be the '98 game when we broke the 7-game winning streak in Athens. It was amazing! I was a junior in high school and got to gloat on Monday lol. So much fun.

Second place for me was PJ's debut in 2008. What a third quarter!

1984. John DUIBerry is loose! A drunk friend of mine was on the track at Sanford and Son Stadium with a stuffed bulldog on a string slamming it into the pavement. I thought he was gonna get his ass kicked by the dwags leaving late in the third quarter.

2008 for me....wife was 8 months preggo, miserable and she was ready to leave at half time down 28-12 (I think). That 3rd quarter sealed the deal for her. Brought her back in 2016 and sat in the UGA end zone. Good times had by all.

2000 when the Goose got loose. It was my freshman year and the only win I’ve seen in person.

My first GT/UGA game in Athens....2000, 2008, and 2016

Mine was in Athens 2014. My son's 15th birthday was the day of the game and I promised I would take him. I got off work at 1 am and we left our house at 5:30. We sat on the top row of the nosebleed seats in the northeast corner of Sanford & Son. A young UGA (sic) fan (student probably) barked at me while I was on my way to the concession stand. I replied "good doggie..now roll over and I'll give you a MilkBone". His 2 young lady companions almost busted their guts laughing at him and he knew he had been punked. The Jackets snatched victory from the jaws of defeat. My son and I had a blast.

He is somewhat of a good luck charm regarding COFH. We got the wins in Athens on his birthday in 2008 & 2014. The day before he was born in 1999, we got our last win in Atlanta.

We plan to be there next Saturday as well and I hope we get them again.

2008...That drought got to me. I graduated in 02 and didn’t know how bad losing to them really was and I took hell for a while. I’ve never celebrated like I did in 08.

2008.

Chan Gailey and I shared tenure at Tech, so I had a rough time of it. 2008 was my first year up here. Started watching the game, got pissed off and left. Finally came home around the third quarter and got confused when I saw the score. Thought to myself “That’s an odd stat, wonder what that means”. Im man enough to admit that I got a little misty after Roddy’s run.

“Where’s the sting of these yellow jackets, Trev Alberts?”

2008 “where’s the sting” was pretty good but 2014’s “kick and the pick” was the most exciting/anxiety-inducing. I hope to make it to the game when GT inducts Justin Thomas and/or Harrison Butker.

was a student in 84 when Dewberry et al stuck it to them in Athens. So Tech students naturally tore down the goal posts. At Grant Field. And carried them to the school president's house. For the longest time the OTS shot for Tech on WSB was me and a bunch of others showing gold and white on the corner at Techwood.
08 was great because of the comeback and I was in a box at Sanford Stadium that was half full of ex Tech players. Because I knew PJ they asked for me what I thought was going on at halftime. And then ... 7 1/2 minutes of sheer glorious football that turned a gloomy, dreary day into one full of sunshine. I remembered walking back from the stadium, just laughing the whole way, in the mist once we had looked into the valley of defeat and said, not today, boys.
So hard to distinguish between 14 and 16, 14 because of just the big gut punch delivered to them after they thought they had it won and in 16, coming back from two scores down in the fourth quarter.

1999 was a hell of game. With one of the greatest coaching calls I’ve ever seen, kicking a field goal on third down!
2000 was the sweetest, because it was the biggest ass whooping since 1990, and I was in Athens for it.

Was at every GT-UGA game home and away from 1998 to 2015 (except 2012).

1998 was awesome to watch Brad Chambers' kick split the uprights. They were much more lenient back then about letting people watch the game from the hedges so we stood there behind our bench at the 15-yard line. Those Hedges were destroyed but contrary to the stories it was completely unintentional. Most of the damage was done trying to climb over to reach our guys for hugs and high-fives. Sure we broke off a few sprigs but the damage had already been done. As amazing and as fun as it was, I wasn't there for the start of the losing streak so I didn't appreciate just how important that win was at the time.

1999 shouldn't have been close. We may not have been more talented but we were so much more well coached. The only game I've ever been to with my dad (who wore red and black and barked like an idiot). Still one of the best times at Bobby Dodd... can't believe it hasn't happened at home since.

2000 was domination. Much bigger rout than the score indicated. I had a friend who's Grandparents were UGA Legacies that sold me tickets on the 50-yard line behind the UGA bench. I was loud. Lots of very unhappy rednecks around me. At that moment in time, we had beaten Georgia 3 years in a row and blown them out in the most recent. What a time to be a Tech fan in the state of Georgia. I lived in Athens, I was loud and I was proud.
2000 was definitely my favorite.

2008 the streakbreaker. We ded at halftime. The way the third quarter unfolded was unreal. Easily the best UGA team I've ever seen us beat. In hindsight we had some amazing talent on that team but didn't realize it until the next year.

2014 was probably the most unexpected. I died at least three times between the 4th quarter and OT. Definitely my #2.

2000 was my freshman year. 2008 was best tho. 2016 was prob most exciting with Qua's leap. 2014 was the most gut wrenching win of all time.
