FBS vs FCS rules question

So I know that if an FBS school beats more than one FCS school, only one counts towards bowl eligibility, I was curious if the FCS had any kind of similar rules.

Like maybe only one loss would count in the standings when it comes to the playoffs?

Otherwise I'm wondering why any FCS school that believes it has a shot at going to the playoffs would play an FBS school...other than the boatloads of money.

FCS wins and losses against FBS schools all count.

Temple lost last night to an FCS team btw

What teams make the 16 team playoff is based off a coaches poll, IIRC. So It really doesn't hurt them to loose to multiple FBS teams expect it makes their record look a little uglier. The voters know it was against a FBS team so they don't kill them in the polls over it. Does this sound accurate GSU fans?

this doesn't really apply to the topic but, I was just wondering, what's going to happen when there are significantly more teams that move up to FBS in the future? How will the bowls work and do you think by having more teams it would push towards a play off? Maybe this should have been discussed in the off season.

The Coaches Poll is what determines the (soon to be) 20 team field. If you have multiple FBS losses, the poll will slightly overlook it (I would think). Naturally, some conference winners get auto-bids, so it wouldn't matter for them
