Fear not everyone....VT has the difinitive answer to the option

No point in watching GT this year...VT has figured it out so I guess I will just watch the Falcons...

I cannot even tell you that because in a triple option play, who is going to get the ball is not pre-determined. It depends on what the end does. The blocking is the same regardless of who gets it because the OL does not know ahead of time either. If VT can somehow get their end to fool the read and then they may know where they play is going.

Maybe on for that would work for a few plays, but I guarantee that Paul Johnson will then change the blocking scheme and change who Josh is reading during the play. Also, the veer, which is what everyone seems to think is the only play we run, is actually not the only play that we run.

You know, he's right. But so can I... Yes it will be a run OR pass and yes the QB will touch the ball. See, run, pass, who's getting the ball ... Genius!
 
I really am sure that Kam Chancellor has figured out our offense...exactly the same way that he figured out that his jersey got left behind in 2007. I'm sure he has our playbook scribbled down at home in the same kindergartner chicken scratch that he drew his name on the back of our uni with. :laugher:
 
Never mind that Tech also can run the mid-line option ... the speed option ... the play action pass ... all from the same formation ... or even different sets, like both A-backs on the same side, or an overload set with two tackles on one side and a wide receiver lined up at the other tackle (still making him eligible as the last man on the end of the line of scrimmage, too).
Yeah, Chancellor's got it all figured out. Up next for him — how bout some differential equations or a nice Taylor series, hmm?

Nah, I was just taking a jab back at you - in the same good nature of course. Maybe I'm the only one who got a laugh out of it.

The point is valid though - their offense was good enough to beat us.
