during the call in show there was a question about using baybay to blocks(obviously someone saw the uga game where a.j.green made a block).

anyways, cpj said that we had gotten that figured out on monday.

cooper taylor had been doing it as he has the highest vertical and then cpj said we had some guys doing it that shouldn't be doing it.

my question is: who's going to be doing it? anyone know?

I miss Michael Johnson. I think that man single handedly circumvented an "Appalachian State-Michigan '07" disaster against Gardner Webb last season. Didn't he block a couple of their field goals?

That was Derrick Morgan.

MJ did block one against Garder Webb but was penalized; that gave them a first down before they scored their TD. That was the bizarre rule about "leaping" or whatever.

Michael Johnson was the tip-master. That kid ALWAYS got a hand on either the ball or the QB. I miss having him on the d-line. Always jumping up and down and dancing, getting in the stance, and sacking someone, then bobbing up and down until it was time to get into his stance again.

He's doing pretty well with the Bengals so far. I believe 9 tackles, 6 of them solo...

He came up big toward the end of that Ravens game the other day, batted down one of Flacco's final passes. That FG block against Miss State ended a drive when they have 2nd and goal at the 1-yard line I do believe.
