Field is ready!

Between the deck and the SC?

Yes. It used to be considered part of Student Center parking and then for some reason, they closed the gate off at the bottom of the deck. I guess just too much traffic circling through there on gameday. It has some nice shade and convenient bathrooms and a few places to eat. Right near the campanile if watching the band play there something folks like to do. It is my favorite place to park on campus.

I usually drive a white Honda Civic with Buzz magnets on the doors and a couple of flags if I put them up.

Wait... you post on ST during the day while there are first graders around? Not to be judgey, but I don't think kids should be exposed to stingtalk...

Only while they were at recess or I had a break. I'm just a sub

Am I early? Where y'all at?
What are you doin' to get ready for game day?

The turf is incredible!

I was asked by some Miami fans in 2004 at our game if our field was artificial. Our crew does a heck of a job.

Yes, I know it well. I park in the SC deck.

If you park at the bottom of the deck near the student center, you have more room to park and they open the bottom gate into parking area 2 after the game. Easier to exit as opposed to trying to get out the entrance. Just in case you didn't know. Most folks try to pile out the top.

Sculpin? At $16 a six-pack when Hopsecutioner tastes the exact same? No dice.

It can keep found cheaper for $14. What...you don't $80k? :-)

I'll have to try Hopsecutioner but to me, I've never found an IPA that takes the bite out like Ballast Point has done with Sculpin. Creature Comforts has come close with their Tropicalia. Have you tried it yet?

I walked through there twice, but couldn't figure out where you were!

Not a big IPA guy. I like smooth beer. IPA's taste like earwax. Probably gonna bring me some of these Pecans tomorrow.

I understood the old saying after finding IPA's. Beer takes time to acquire the taste. My pops prefers whiskey. So do I. I do love hops though.

My white civic was parked against the wooded area about 5 cars down from the entrance. I usually have two Buzzes on the car, one on each side and flags on the back windows. I did go to the bookstore to buy my daughter a shirt and we went to YJA to see the team walk in.

I lke more dark beers and ales, it seems, that aren't so hoppy. Craft brewers are just going a bit overboard with the IPA's

Okay, yeah, I've seen the two Buzz's many times.

Yeah, $16 for Sculpin means you are shopping at the wrong place. But to say it's the same as Hopsecutioner? Not so fast my friend. Not even close.

Ballast Point is definitely one of the best breweries out there. Really haven't had a bad beer from them. Had their Dorado double ipa this weekend - great stuff.

Tropicalia is definitely my favorite right now. Just can't get enough of the stuff. My gameday beer this year. Need them to get their supply up so that it's easier to find. Have people making deliveries for me from their trips to Athens. If you get the chance, try their double, Cosmik Debris. Amazing.

I would burn Athens to the ground but keep their breweries. Years of killing residents' brain cells has paid off with some exceptional brewing.

I am probably going to search out another beer soon. Any suggestions from anyone on something that isn't a hoppy IPA?

Easy to find me. I will be there about every game if the space is available and usually our group saves the space.
