Fight after the game?

I've heard the GT players got into fist fights with each other in the locker room after the Wake loss...anyone hear about this? If true, what little armor we had isn't only showing cracks, its down right rotting off.

SO tired of mediocrity under Gailey...

cya Calvin... sorry GT wasted your talents.

That would not bother me one bit, as long as it was Offense vs. the truly offensive, with the Defense joining in.

I am sure most of us will never know jack about certain individual player's impact on team chemistry, but I will bet what I have that there are stories that would keep people up at night.

I beg that we never suffer this again.

Does anybody else get the feeling that somethings are gonna come out after the season or school year is over and Ball is officially gone?

Very disheartening if so. Gailey should bench all players involved if it is true. It's one thing to loose the game and another to loose your integrity.

That is NOT TRUE GeeTee. I know several people that were on the sidelines the entire game and in the locker room after....there was not a fight.

There was a lot of frustration and kids that were visibly upset...but no fight.

Your statement, from wherever you got it, is just an outright lie...you should be ashamed of yourself for posting it without confirming.

I think we would have heard about it from a bunch of other people if that were actually true.

If you did make that up, you must be a Dawg trying to stir things up on this messageboard.

I take issue with saying that and the support of if it in fact happened which it did not.

The fight comment was posted on another GT board, not by me... the poster was pretty certain it happened. Hope not... here is what was posted...

24 hours after the Wake Forest disaster (congrats to a well-coached WF group of decent and talented young men) will our voices be heard by our new AD? Anyone who doubts that the majority of the Tech alumni and fan base demand a change please spend some time on any of the on-line blogs and go talk to us fans that actually show up to the games.

The team broke into fist-fights in the locker room after the game in Jacksonville. Its true. Can you blame the kids? KaMichael Hall was in tears telling the press that he has grown weary of putting his heart, soul and body on the line to the point where he can barely walk at game's end and the lack of offensive performance (Reggie, Chan, Patrick and Co.) has kept them from moving forward. Reggie's lack of class showed even more with his unwillingness to speak to the press. Anyone who saw the press interviews saw that many of the players came close to expressing their displeasure with Reggie and (particularly) the coaches but were smart enough NOT to go there.

Lo and behold the jackass was right. Perhaps an apology is in order?

First of all, no need to apologize. After all, I was also the first one to post here that Ball may not play in the Gator Bowl..and caught some flack for that, too.

One day, Stingtalkers will see that I know more about GT and the direction it should take. Next step, our million dollar +/year coach and staff that has us spinning our wheels in place (I know, I know, Coastal Division winner, things are great, yada, yada...such a prestige that was that a down UGA beat us (again), mostly empty seats watched us in the ACC CG where a team beat us with a true frosh 2nd string qb and rb where we only scored a few points vs our Biletnikoff winner).... One day, you'll apologize for berating me on this, too... you'll see.

...and thanks for the complimentary name calling! ;)

Gee, when I click on that it just says

Well the link is to a post by AFRJacket that says that they were discussing Joe Anoai kicking the crap outta Reggie Ball in the locker room after the game on ESPN Radio.

You know you're a good disciplinarian when:
1. Your top senior DL beats your starting QB up.
2. Neither player gets any penalty in the next game.

Isn't this kind of thing what lead to Bill Lewis' downfall?

If Reggie told Joe "It's just a game, dog.", then I don't blame him for any violence that followed.

I am speculating here, but logically I think:

Joe and our former starting quarterback had some words after the ball game. Dog got a little overzealous and threw the first punch. Joe then cheerfully beat his ass.

Gailey investigated and threw Dog off the team for instigating the fight.

Dog may have been given the choice of being released for disciplinary reasons or for flunking out due to an email that never made it home.

For the umpteenth time, Riley Skinner is a redshirt not a true frosh. It really doesn't make any difference but you keep bringing it up in your multiple diatribes each day so i assume it is important to you.

People have told me you can see dents in the walls of the AA meeting rooms from football players getting in fights.

It happens at all colleges though. I remember a particularly bad fight at a Bama practice that was caught on tape. Not all D-IA players are choir boys.
