I was called out by ncjacket on it, and I apologized in his thread. Just very emotional day for me yesterday. Sorry if I have offended you in any way, and I will try to limit it in the future.JacketIM said:TechGator1066:
Is it possible for you to post without the use of profanity? Your inability to express yourself without reverting to gutter language reflects poorly on you, this board, and the excellent institutions of higher education (Georgia Tech and The University of Florida) that you purport to represent. Your inability to exercise self control over your emotions cast doubt as to whether you even attended, more less graduated, from either of those schools.
Act, and post, like a mature adult, or please leave.
Have a wonderful day.
I'm willing to admit now that it could have gone either way, but I just start asking questions when the replay official only takes about 20 seconds to look at the play when usually plays are looked at for a minute or longer. They should have examined it a lot longer than they did because it was a game changing decision either way if it was upheld or overturned.ncjacket said:No, what they're saying is he pumped but didn't release the ball and was trying to hold onto it when he dropped it. I guess it has to be an attempt to throw the ball. It never looked like a pass attempt to me live, but I thought maybe his arm was hit and that's why it looked so weird.
Yeah my point exactly, there needs to be a standard set by the NCAA that applies to all conferences.ncjacket said:I don't like how they do replay in any event. Sometimes it's so obvious I can't figure out what they're looking at and other times they seem to give it only a cursory glance. It makes little sense to me.
True, no set of standards will suffice for stupidity.pocket_watch said:What kind of standardization? They need to start by getting the obvious ones right.
