Florida State fans

I have actually always found FSU fans to be among the better fans of any teams we play. In particular, I enjoy their women. :wow: Every team has douche bags in their fan base who do low-class things when they've been drinking all day--even our own. FSU's though are, as a whole, quite classy, especially for a team that has had so much past success. They're confident, but that's good thing. I hope our fan base can enjoy that kind of confidence in years to come. Teams who suck tend not to have noticeably low-class fans because they have nothing to gloat about. I think that Clemson and FSU both have decent fans. I've always enjoyed visiting their campuses for GT games.

My seats are in section 124. In front of me were 2 guys and a girl from FSU. There was a guy with his very young son sitting next to me who was rooting for FSU. The guys in front of me were loud and cocky, and they almost started a fight at one point. A couple of GT fans got in his face and he backed off.

At the half I started talking to the guys in front of me and the man next to me, and they were all actually quite nice and we ended up keeping up the friendly smack talk the whole 2nd half.

When we recovered the ball in the end zone to seal the game, the guys in front of me turned around and shook my hand and said congrats. The guy next to me was quite obviously disappointed but he just said "hey, my little guy had a blast. That's all that matters." Very classy.

What a game! I'm still walking around with a big goofy grin on my face.

Clearly not a true fan. Apparently my dad was screaming at the dog and any family members around after that Jaybo interception. Good thing it all worked out in the end :).

"Everything [Tech] does is a rip-off of someone else.." - Heard every time we did something we consider a Tech tradition, including the Budweiser song and Up With The White And Gold

They spell the name of their school and have a monotonous chant as their school cheers and they talk trash about our gameday songs?

Then again most of their student body probably couldn't learn the words to an actual song and my father in law says that learning to spell Florida State is worth 3 credit hours.

I was in 207 and the amount of garnet surrounding us was horrible. If had had to hear the "Florida State Florida State WOOO!" one more time I was going to jump from the upper west.

Although one redeeming thing is that I made a bet with my professor (that got his PhD from FSU) that Tech would win. Now he has to buy me lunch.
