Here are the basics for listening to the game at night:
107.1 "South 107", is an excellent choice if you live up 75 from middle of Cobb county going north toward Rome and Dalton. The carry every football and men's basketball game, but do not carry the weekly coaches call-in radio show.
Wes,
Is absolutely correct ! South 107 ROCKS !!! Actually it is all country and the best country music station on the dial I.M.H.O.
For those of us North of the city, it is the best choice...I always turn the TV down and have the radio on South 107 and listen to Wes the man...Interesting to see how Strom does tonight replacing Noter...I really enjoyed Note....
Wes,
Any possibiltires in the future adding 96 Rock or 97.1 to our radio network ?...That would be a best case scenario for FM....Strong signals on both stations...
OK. I just double checked. The game WILL be streaming on WREK's website tonight (for free, as always), like I thought.
If DRad himself gave you that misinformation, then that is disappointing.
91.1FMThanks for the info Kyle.
I've never listened to WREK (don't live in ATL), but will be at the game tonight and would love to listen to Wes while at the game. What station is WREK on a regular radio? Thanks again.
Thanks TJ.91.1FM
Concerning the pay for streaming thing ... I don't like it. We need all the fans we can get and if that excludes just a few, it will be bad.

WREK-FM (91.1), carries "all nighttime" football games in August and September, then will carry games that start at 3:30 p.m. or later, once the time changes. It's signal covers most of the city inside 285, and stretches into parts of Cobb County and west along I-20. WREK's signal is not great going east (Conyers, etc.).
WIMO is an AM station in Winder, that does not have a great nighttime signal (less than 2,500 watts) as I recall. But good station to dial up in late November when the Jackets play in Clarke County.
Lastly, and perhaps the best option if you're at home or on the road is XM Radio. Tomorrow night's game is on XM 190. If you enjoy listening to games, it easily pays for itself in one fall of college football.
Hope that helps...
