If Tyrod Taylor didn't make that pass at the end of the Nebraska game (or if Pelini would have gone for it on 4th and 1 instead of punting), we are playing a 4-2 VT team and we are favored at home in this game.

This is a game of inches. I look forward to watching CPJ lead us to victory!

We can beat VPI. We coulda/shoulda beat them last year in just our 3rd game in a brand new offense. Well, we are FAR better this year on O than last year, and their D is perhaps not as good. As long as Tyrod doesn't go off for 300 yards passing, we're OK. I don't think they can beat us running the ball.

I'm not scared of their passing offense. FSU, Miami, CU and MSU all used a lot of 4 WR sets. VPI may do this some, but to the degree they do, they have moved out of their offense. They normally don't throw a whole lot more than we do. Tyrod may throw for 150 yards and they may run for 200, but we're liable to put up 300 rushing and 150 pasing, and just control the game.

The football is oblong for a reason. The resulting introduction of the unpredictable "bounce" makes the game far more interesting. We will need good fortune to win, but we have all seen how the laws of the physical world are sometimes suspended inside the lines on Grant Field.

Yep. Especially with ACC refs.

We can. I WILL NOT look back and say "we shoulda, we coulda" if we lose. I'll accept this. I am standing by our 10-2 season, and we only have one loss, so no disappointment with a loss..

but God damn me to Hell (along with UGA) if I don't cheer my heart out tonight.
