Football Coaches Next Year

I, had been saying for a long time that Chris Hatcher should've been our Offensive Coordinator. However, that ship has sailed.....look for him to be the OC at FSU next season. He was a guest in either FSU's President's or AD's priate suite at one of the FSU games earlier this season. Just about the time that Jeff Bowden announced his resignation. We really should've brought in Hatcher last year. He is a good one and it is too late in the game now.

So, if Nix does leave, what are the odds of Gailey reverting back to calling the plays himself?

Don't let the door hit you in the ass. Thanks alot.

I have no illusions that Pat Nix is a football guru that we can't live without.

I do know that he wouldn't be here right now except for us.

I hope he quits.

If Nix stays...he has big things planned and has already shared this with Threet, Donley, Nesbitt, Dwyer, etc. you saw some of this with Bennett in the Duke game with seam passes and quick slants. That is just not a strength with Reggie. With a more traditional QB you will see the ball all over the darn field.

So gnats, glad to know at least you're a football genius. Nix is trying to run an offense that's limited by what the QB can do. Blame him for that maybe, or blame Chan for his devotion to Reggie. But part of what an OC has to do is tailor the offense to the talent of the players. You have to admit, this year's schemes work much better than the last 3 years.

A head coach of another school in a suite of another school? During the middle of the season?

LfD, it was reported on sports talk radio station here in Middle Georgia a couple of weeks ago. I think that VSU (Hatcher's team) had a Saturday off.
