Football Is Just A Game

life does indeed move on. all of you guys will go to work, come back to family, eat and sleep. us students will go to class (sometimes), hope we pass, make relationships and continue on living too. besides the freshman, everyone on the team had an incredible year last year. and those freshman still have a lot of time to have good memories too.

chin up, finish the year strong and look forward to the future.

And most importantly, we have one home game left this year and it's only right to send the seniors off properly by absolutely dominating the tailgate for the Georgia game.
 
AIDS is just a disease and our entire offense is playing like they have it.
 
That is not a post after "a" loss. It is a fumbling for a word better than "inept" and a dazed request for an explanation as to how the offense got there.

This thread is emblematic of why we keep Chan Gailey too long, hire Paul Johnson and Bill Lewis and Pepper Rodgers in the first place. Watching the $hit storm tonight against a 4-5 team with no coach, being up two touchdowns, losing and being okay with it says it all. We like to pretend, but we are not very passionate about our football.
 
Coach Beamer was drunk and still beat GT and now I got to wake up and read that I should be thankful that I'm still alive?

Ciraldo, before the thread gets further swamped by idiots: Great post, and I personally appreciate you taking time to add a little perspective when most others here just want another thread they can whine in about how angry they are.
 
Some of y'all need to find a hobby, ain't nobody enjoy flubbing game after game over to VT, but most of us ain't gonna lay up in bed all day and pout about it

I think it helps to be realistic. It is unrealistic to think our program will ever be like it was in the 1950's and 60's just because of the way college football has evolved since then. If you look at CPJ's body of work he is up there with GOL and Bobby Ross. We would be fools to fire him after a couple of sub par seasons.

I get not agreeing with the philosophy, and everyone has their own way of looking at things. But what's the need to be a jerk about it, especially towards our older fans?
 
I don't need a "it's just football" thread every time we lose a game.
