Football Tweets

FSU is PHUCKED.

Burning bridges is rarely a good idea. It's slowly dawning on them to put down the flame thrower. A little late.

I really hope this bites them in the ass beyond just the bad look. They should pay damages. Clemson too. Phuck em.
Funny how when this whole thing started, they were both at the top of the conf in football and now they are at opposite ends of the conf in football. Whether by coincidence or consequence, its pretty interesting.

Agreed, it is interesting.

It's also interesting that SMU, who agreed to join the ACC as an unpaid intern, is in the playoffs and has a legitimate shot to win it all. Curiously I wonder what their buyout away from the ACC is. Is it the same given they don't make TV revenue out of the deal? What a bargain for the ACC they appear to be.

SMU is an interesting case, because they can now do legally what they received the "death penalty" for back in 1987. Cultivating billionaire donors will be the new formula for becoming a football factory in college football. The days of bag men and shady deals to players' family members are over, and a new landscape is emerging.

I wonder how Craig James feels about this.

Dan Mullen to Vegas to coach the Runnin Rebs. Which retread is next?

You might call him a "retread", but I think he was/is one of the best Offensive Coordinators in College Football. Like so many others, I don't think he transitioned well to HC. If/when CBF takes a boat-load of money to go somewhere else, I would love to have CDM as Tech OC.

Whether you like them or not, those FL offenses with Tim Tebow and Dan Mullen were great!

He didn't transition well to Florida. If he had stayed at Mississippi State they might have eventually named the field after him.
