I’ve consistently said in a big spot, I want the ball going to Malik. Always makes the catch. Always absorbs the hit. Lines back up. Always was there to bail the QB out. Knew how to break off his route when everything broke down. This hurts much less to me than Singleton. I like Malik a lot but I think Stockton might be able to step in to his shoes. Maybe a slight downgrade but I also might be completely wrong.
Tough to look at it that way since a big part of the reason we've gotten all the pieces is because other players left their original schools too. We’re finally playing winning football and all the pieces have a chance to come back and build on it but noooooooooooooo the fucking WRs gotta run off and be selfish. Heaven forbid they run it back and compete for conference title and playoff spot. Get paid and fade into obscurity.
This one hurts.
Something about your mom receiving better from behind or somethingNot sour grapes but after watching Singleton return kickoffs this year, I realized that his strength is not on display when he has defenders in front of him.
Only when they are behind him.
That’s a deal breaker for the NFL. I think his high water mark in the draft is late rounds and likely end up as an UDFA.
I wish him the best but starting to think that maybe Wienke was telling him what he didn’t want to hear so he opted for a song more to his liking.
Turned his back on Tech. Not sure what program he goes to where he’s WR1 and gets the ball consistently on third down, but I hope that program exists out there for him. I really, really like Malik a lot and appreciate what he accomplished here. But I think he is downgrading his role wherever he lands.
See what happensI tried to be positive.
Us 60 somethings just think fug it, just go and don't come back and let's get the next guy out there that wants to play.Nice. Hope this is it. Kids are dramatic af. Don’t they know know us 40 something year old guys need them to win games next year? Jeez.
True. It’s already difficult enough to remember players names. All this transferring diminishes fan interest.
His speed alone will get him drafted. Not sour grapes but after watching Singleton return kickoffs this year, I realized that his strength is not on display when he has defenders in front of him.
Only when they are behind him.

Why do you need to know names though? If GT scores a TD does it really matter to you that it was a guy named Johnson, Smith, Roberts, King, Rutherford, or whoever? What’s important to know is our coaching staff appears to know what they are doing which is way more important than any players name. Look at Indiana. I doubt any of us could name 2 of their players before last night, but yet they hire a legit coach and a program that hasn’t won a thing in decades has done something GT has never done which is make the playoffs. Players are completely fungible assets, it’s the team managing that assets that bring success. We had very good players under Collins and yet won nothing. It’s already difficult enough to remember players names. All this transferring diminishes fan interest.
