For those at the game..

I thought the win couldn't get any better, then ArchiTECH gave his perspective.

The crowd around us was loud and active. (Stood up the entire game, we usually do) Also, very, very few empty seats in our section.

OK, who's going to be the first to post a picture of CPJ / ArchiTECH's love child?

The crowd was louder because I had my whole section 207 standing up on almost every play..not to mention I had them yelling, cussing, drinking whiskey, and spitting by halftime.

It was a blast.

All American, were you at the FSU game this year? The reason I ask is that the crowd then was the best all year in my opinion. How did it compare?

I think the FSU crowd was a bit louder, but it was a good atmosphere last night. Well... at least until about mid-way throught the 4th quarter when most of the UM folks had gone and I'd guess 20 - 25 % of the Tech crowd had left.

BOR

From the student sections, this crowd was a lot better than the FSU game.

I really couldn't believe my eyes, but I think there were people actually standing before the 3rd down on defense in the Lower West stands...

However, I don't think the crowd ever got as excited during the Miami game than during that last FSU drive... That still definitely was the most shiningest moment for the crowd this season...

ROTFLMAO! You guys are killing me! GO JACKETS!!!

I thought the crowd noise was the best of the year...maybe ever. But I have a short memory.

My only regret is that there were some empty seats. Imagine the noise and intimidation a full BD stadium could bring to opponents.

It really made me feel good to know all those recruits and the national TV audience saw and heard what we saw and heard.

The ThugU fans right behind me were obnoxious (well, at the beginning anyway) but to their credit they stayed until about 5 minutes to go.

The U fans were obnoxious at the beginning, but we turned them in to the quiet friendly type by the first quarter end.

They did wonder, "why is it so quiet here?" Of course I pointed out that when we have the ball we tone it down a little so the boys can do their thing on the field. "But Florida does their Gator chomp right up to the snap."

It was a very good crowd and I was impressed with the number of Miami fans there. Their fans were fine and actually I believe that Shannon is wrestling the thug U reputation out of the program.

That picture is freakin awesome.

Yes it was a beautiful night with the buildings in the background. We should have won a few recruits over. I heard we had a few they we're trying hard for and who many schools would love to have.

I had to listen to a bunch of White Miami fans talk like they were Black Miami fans from the ghetto.

They finally shut their traps after some reprisal trash talking and 2 TD's.

Crowd was great (really, really, really GREAT!)

Whiteout really was far better than hoped for - in fact, successful. Let's face it, as the Tech Nation, a "whiteout" or other gimmick is just not how we roll. Other fan bases will NEVER understand that, so f'..em. That's why we are simply better people.

The Jacket Walk wasn't well attended but on Thursday nights, it seldom is.

Could you at least change your avatar? I keep picturing you as a weird little old gray haired monkey every time you have anything to say.

Don't you dare tell me that's what you had in mind!

Monkeys don't post!

Me and two buddies from school came down and met up with my cousins for the game last night. One of the guys that drove down to the game with us is a lifetime Clemson fan but had never been to Bobby Dodd. All he talked about the whole night was our awesome traditions and stuff.

When the Yellow Jacket chant got started, it was so loud and he looked at me and said, "WOW!!!" He also told me that he has always hated Tech but was ahving so much fun with all the Jackets in 206.

When we finally left the stadium, he shook my hand and said, "Thanks, man... That was awesome!"

Oh yeah, and he wore white!!! Screw the Tech fans that didn't... Even a Clemson fan wore white in support of our Jackets!

I brought both an Alabama and Auburn fan last night and both wore white, and pulled together for the same team - GA Tech!
