I think the fashion (playing Ball the entire games) in which we lost to Georgia and Wake Forest has had a real negative impact on peoples optimism. Even though Ball is gone.

the thing to keep in mind is we could have EASILY won every game we lost.

wow, it really is interesting to see how some of you think. We finished the season with about the worst QB play you could possibly have and still had a chance to win. We change the QB. We went to the wire with a top 10 team that will likely be top 5 in the preason with a QB in his first start and without one of our best defenders.

So being able to go toe to toe with a possible top 5 teams leads some of you to believe we may not even have a winning record next year?

Come on guys, we're engineers, lets be logical. We lose CJ yes, but our passing guy will be stronger next year because of gainning TB. We were just about last in the ACC this year in passing even with CJ because of Ball. Our running game should be stronger returning Choice and bringing in 2 top rbs, and returning our 4 best OL. The D should be just as strong if not stronger IMO, since we lose little and gain talent. We face our toughest games at home also. But somehow better team + better schedule = worst record to some of you. But hey, whatever helps you sleep at night I guess.

It's amazing that almost everyone ignores two facts:

1. WVU had no meaningful film on Taylor Bennett.

2. After they saw what we were trying to do for a half, they made halftime adjustments, and we were essentially shut out in the second half. TB's second half stats were nothing to write home about.

I am not blaming TB, but unless we find a new OC, most fans will continue to blame our QB--whoever he may be- for poor performance and lost games.
