Former player speaks out...

he sounds like one of those players that laid down for ugag and let them put up a 51spot on us

We have a winner, if you see him again, ask him how if felt to quit in front of 92,000.

FWIW, I didn't like my high school basketball coach. We were too short, slow, and white to play man-to-man against Marietta.

I would go directly to Gailey, but guess what- he doesn't answer his phone-he doesn't have v.m.-he doesn't take phone calls during his football show with Wes-he doesn't have a working e-mail address. If you go to his office his secretary is the gatekeeper, and lastly I don't know where he lives. And now you ask me to go direct with my complaints!!!!!!!!!

I have his email and phone number as well as a lot of other people I know, It's not that hard. It's called a directory on www.ramblinwreck.com

It has a wealth of information you can use.

I guess if he'd punted with only 1:32 to go and ONE timeout, it'd be called........

....a Mark Richt?

That was no doubt stoopid too, even before the ridiculous clock changes affecting this year.
In CG's defense, he KNEW that RB was not going to pick up 13 yards on 4th down.
We had a much better chance of recovering a fumble on the punt.

Make no mistake,..Chan Gailey understands what we have in RB at qb.
Maybe he just can't do anything about it.

Pocket, that's an interesting post.

NCJacket, I have a friend who played on Coach K's first season and then he left the team to focus on medical school. He says he regrets that decision (not the medical school part).

My girlfriend's father's sister's great aunt's niece knew an ex-GT player who posted anonymously on an internet message board that they absolutely HATED Chan Gailey. This player played for Curry, Lewis, and Gailey.

Well, if they don't like Gailey, then it's obvious that my opinion that we need a new coach is correct, because all ex-players are correct, even when they disagree with each other.

midatlanta, I knew most of the players during the Foster years and some of K's early assistants. There was a huge difference between the two and many players had trouble. K also had a very different philosophy of how to play basketball than Bill did. Not taking sides here, simply saying that it's not at all unusual for players who started with one coach to have a low opinion of the new one no matter who they are.

We lost plenty of players in the transition from Curry to Ross, from Ross to Lewis, Lewis to O'Leary, etc. Nothing new and nothing to make anything out of.

He is the freaking Head Coach for God's sake. If he can't do anything about it then what the hell good is he? And a better question is, who the hell can?

Well there is something he could do about it..

..take over the play calling and call more conservative plays, to keep us from giving games away.

..but then again, we know how the fans react when that happens...
