While I cannot post on Buzzoff since I bring too much sense to an otherwise sense-less place, I do read it. And, a week ago I found a post I wanted to save and post somewhere. Well, here it is:

Save my post. Virginia Tech will beat the hell out of us and Clemson will do the same. Tech must not flub up vs. the NC schools if Gailey is to deliver his usual 7 wins - and in case it got lost in the argument - that is on a 12 game schedule. Just about every D1 school in the country grabbed a laugher when the 12th was approved, so 7 today = 8 prior to the 12th game. Less room for gimme's then. FOCers can start their spin but I ain't buying it. Until we beat somebody good, they've proven nothing.

That place is trash with "Tech fans" pulling against GT.
 
The dumb thing of that post is that it suggests that we don't beat anybody any good. Don't we have the longest streak in the nation for beating a Top 25 team at least once every year? Didn't we have a few big wins in Auburn, Miami, etc.?

Our reall problem has been let downs just when it looks like we've got it going. This could be one of those weeks, so if we want to prove we're a better team, now is the time to do it.

Do people make predicitons to "Save the Post" and that so-and-so "will beat the hell out of us." ?

No, they make predictions on what they think will happen, not claim they know with absolute certainity GT will get the hell beat out of them.

Very different.

As B'nutts pointed out Mr Gold'nado from BO went to great lengths to express his distain for GT's chances.

So did BOR, but he was quick to post that he was wrong and was effusive in his praise for the team and its efforts. Not so for Mr GT on BO, nor for most of the rest of that crew of fools.

Ah, but they are still confident that "Gailey will find a way to lose 6 games" and their bashing of the so-called "focers" and "cheerleader boards" continues without pause.

Someone on the Hive posted that BO is not accepting any new members. Reckon they can't take the heat. Typical.

If you want to get technical, I left myself an out as to how we could win the game. I just didn't think we'd do it.

I don't think its bad to post that you think we will lose a game. I think its bad to post that consistently and constantly toss out slanderous remarks on the team. I think I am fairly even handed with my praise and criticisms.

Quite frankly, I don't know of a single damn soul outside of BO that would be happy to lose the coach that won an ACC championship AND beat UGA.
 
I didn't mean to imply that StingTalk is no different from Buzzoff, only that this one particular post is not very different from what we heard here last week.
 
Now, I realize the VT game was only two days ago, but dang if I ain't tired of all this fuss over a "guaranteed loss" by BOR.

I wasn't real happy about the negativity in his post either, but I made my thoughts known in one post and let it go at that. Can't we just move on already?!! Y'all are bringing this board down!
 
I just checked the welcome message over at Buzzoff, and now I want to change my name due to the below:

Example: a poster on another board came up with the nic "wannabeebad" for me 'cause I didn't graduate from Tech & am occasionally critical of the coaching staff....
