Neither...read page 5 and the bbuzzoff post.

the point is clough pulled the rug from DRad and Rad is made and a nice assembled staff is no more....thats the point...but as far as who I won't really say here.

Did Clough pull the rug out from DRad or did the board/big money guys force Clough's hand? Who's really at fault here, Clough or guys like Taz and Drew Hearn?

First off...taz does not have as much pull as everyone thinks...he has kinda been ignored

secondly, if our president is so easily influenced from making what could have been a good decision, and influenced enough that he pisses his own hire off...I have to question that president. While I understand money is important; winning is more important and so is doing what is right. What was done wasn't right.

you don't sign off on someone and rescind the last moment (literally) b/c you get cold feet. That is very unprofessional and childish IMO.

So ultimately IMO it is Cloughs issue.
 
Having now heard 33jacket's rumor in full, in a PM, and sworn not to spread it around, it sounds awfully contrived to me. Like, unless I heard that from Dan Rad's lips I wouldn't believe a word of it.


It all comes down to who you believe, I guess.

But see that's the thing ... that's how rumors start. Thats, like, the whole point of a rumor, that they're substantiated from other people who heard the same speculation and the cross-substantiation becomes "fact" when it may very well not be.

It gets worse when neither substantiator tells exactly what they heard, for fear of revealing a source, which is particularly shining in this case because Demjackets story and your story have a definite major difference, even though you claim he's substantiating yours and you his.

What I just heard, that being what you heard, isn't exactly what demjackets heard, as best as I've been led to believe, and the difference is huge. And in either case, who the hell knows?


This is like a bad episode of Entertainment Tonight.

Part of the reason Gailey was fired and we were looking for a new coach was to re-unite the fanbase.

Given that there is a significant segment of the fanbase already lined up against RM, does it make much sense to bring in someone who is going to be sniped at from Day 1?

I agree. My information was learned independently of anything on these boards. If I was Radakovich, I'd resign.

It will be hard to be a Tech fan because no one with any skill as AD or coach will want to be associated with the money guys or the academic administration. Our athletic program is about to go on life support.

This is not the first time that Clough has damaged the football program.

Were Muschamp and Hatcher involved? This would disappoint me more than anything if true...If we could have had both of those guys on the same staff...wow.

from what dem said last night, that was just a rumor. The alleged WM package did not include Hatcher but included Giff as the DC.
