I still can't believe he stole that ball back...

I have a feeling I will always mention that play in every discussion of the greatest Tech football plays of all time for the rest of my life. I remember shouting "JOSH!" at the top of my lungs when I saw that happen. Talk about a quick but intense emotional swing.

No kidding. I was watching with some friends and when Roddy dropped it there was a collective "F***!" then after he stole it, one of my buddies ran up to the TV, spilling his beer, and screamed "Joshua Mother-F***ing NESBITT!!! NO YOU DID NOT!" :laugher:

I could watch that steal by Nesbitt all day long! What a caveman!

Looking at these plays just reminds me of how epic that game was. I was in an emotional coma all Sunday.

Despite the fact that our defense wasn't too hot, this was actually a GREAT game offensively. I keep watching AA's long run, but watch Roddy Jones' block right before AA gets pushed out of bounds... He dives HARD into that kid's kip!

All I could muster was "HOLY ****! DO YOU REALIZE WHAT HE JUST DID? HOLY ****! HOLY ****! HOLY ****! HOLY ****!" My wife jumped out of her seat so violently that she nearly broke her foot hitting it on the chair.

Last year watching Florida State's Thomas rush towards the endzone, I was sure he was about to score for the win until I saw the ball in the air. Went from pure misery to pure euphoria.

This year, I was sure when they recovered the fumble I was sure that they would drive down and score to win until Nesbitt ripped it back. From pure misery to pure euphoria.

This team will kill me.

One of my friends who's a Georgia fan called me right after this laughing and screaming ":laugher: ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?! I've NEVER seen that before! I've NEVER seen that!!! Holy s***!"

Awesome clips. Wright needs to be careful of how early he throws the ball away after scoring a TD. I remember thinking that while watching the game, but it looks like he was def in now.

Nah, nothing to worry about. He was a few steps in.

On a similar note, I remember watching the Michigan State-Michigan game in 2000 and TJ Duckett caught the game-winning pass and it seemed like he had not even held the ball for a full second when he chucked it in the air. I was sure it would be ruled incomplete, but it wasn't.

Didn't want to start a new thread for an old game. I saw this from mickey andrews on the mainboard.

Mickey Andrews

* Said Georgia Tech put in a pretty good wrinkle on offense where they would put the No. 2 receiver in motion. Said they did that 90% of the time and never showed it before. It was backwards of what they normally did and said it "really messed" with their fits, adjustments, and gave Tech an extra blocker.

* Noted that the DL got pushed back pretty good by Ga. Tech's offensive line.

* Snapped at the Sentinel reporter about midway into the PC when he was asked if there was an adjustment that could be made during the game. Andrews said "If we could make an adjustment don't you think I would make it?" Also, asked the reporter if he wanted to come and do his job. Shortly thereafter said he didn't mean to "pop off" and admitted he is pretty frustrated. At the end of the interview he apologized for his attitude.

here's a link

I wonder what Mickey's idea of a very good wrinkle is?

Sincerely,

7 offensive touchdowns.

****Happy retirement, asshole!****
