FSU has :40 and two timeouts and what does Miami do? Squib kick???

Bad decision by Ponder. This is a like a JV game compared to the F$U/UM games of 10 years ago.
 
Here's what I know about FSU-Miami at halftime:


1) Both teams are amazingly better than either team was last year
2) Both teams will kick our asses blind if we play like we did vs Jax St.
 
I agree with beej both Miami and FSU look much inproved we will have our hands full taking on those two teams.
 
Yep. We had better have our A+ game when we meet these two or it could be ugly.

That may be a little much. If we play like we did against JSU with our starters, we could hang 70 points on either team.

I think we'll be able to put up some points but I also feel like they'll eat us alive with the little dink-and-dunk passes.
 
I think we'll do fine if they keep getting injured at this rate.

Besides that though, we will do fine. I don't see why you guys are panicking so much.

That's twice I've seen Ponder make really poor reads in the backfield with handoffs. If I can see it, you know our staff will see that.
 
Jesus, MIA has had 7 penalties and 30 yards worth to start the second half.

MIA's defense does not look great at all. GT could have their way with them.
 
FSU safeties been toasted multiple times.

Miami does not suck. That's the biggest takeaway imo. QB looks very confident, great pass protection and good play calling. Still a couple of questionable HC decisions.
 
A really good game so far! Both teams are pretty good. Neither are discouraging me, however. I think the inside game with Dwyer will be there against FSU and the outside pitch against the Canes.

Our defense will be tested by both.
