BellySeries, if we had a league of twelve, I would prefer to play the other five teams in our league and maybe two others from the North Division on a rotating basis. I would settle for the six, but no more than seven.

It sort of baffles me why the league would want two divisions, a championship game, and then schedule a lot of games in the other half of the league.

I thought the idea is to get the strongest team in both divisions and play in the championship game. It sort of waters the championship game down if everyone has already played everyone else in the league.

A max of seven games in the league would open up five games to play Tennessee, Auburn, Georgia, Alabama, Ole Miss, Florida, South Carolina, LSU, etc.

We could have some good games and sell out the stadium.

Alright, I was trying to be somewhat tactful (I realize this is rubbish for the most part on this board); but nevertheless, I did not feel inclined to "let it all hang out".

OK, I am out of the closet:

1. Teams I only pull for when they will help Tech's position/reputation: All but Georgia.
2. Teams I have a hard time pulling for even if their win will help Tech: Depends on how much.
3. Teams I pull against, help Tech or not: Georgia
4. Teams I pull against on a normal basis: Georgia, Auburn, FSU, Baylor, Notre Dame, Duke, N.C., Texas.(almost no matter what!!!!){A. AUBURN: Personal, grew up 4 miles from Campus, kinfolks get on my nerves, have belittled Tech all my life, bunch of semi-lowlife rednecks.) B.FSU: sick of my brother (former FSU V.President and alumni and his pomposity + their's} C. BAYLOR: the girl who dumped me in high school was a Baylor grad and her father was also and they took me to several Baylor games in the 50s. Got used to pulling against them (as her wealthy parents pulled against this commoner) plus don't want anyone who dumped me to be happy. D. NOTRE DAME: "'nuff said". E. Duke/NC: 'nuff said',
F. Texas (teased me about a baseball scholorship and wound up re-nigging (sp.).

So there you have it. I did not want to come out of the closet, but JJ you drew me out. Now, I hope you are happy or at the very least bored!!!

Let's see now, about 85% of us hate/dislike ND and don't want them in our conference; even though they profess to being christian which certainly goes against the flow here..must have something to do with total emersion vs. forehead dripping baptism.

Anyway, whether you are for or against won't matter a tinker’s damn (an interesting term wonder where it origionated?). The $$$$$ will do all the talking, just like before.

I think it was Winston Churchill who said to an obnoxious dinner companion, "Madam would you go to bed with me for a million pounds? Somewhat flustered but wanting to call Churchill's bluff, she said yes. Then with a twinkle in his eye, Churchill said, "Madam would you go to bed with me for 10 pounds?" Indignantly, the women said, "What kind of women do you take me for?" To which Churchill replied, "Madam we have already determined that, now we are just haggling over the price."

Hey, 71,If I read correctly: you have me in the wrong camp: I would love to play them every year and beat thier fannies every year; plus see a team or two from the strongest Conference in the NCAA beat them as well!!!!!!!!!1
