I was thinking the same thing. They did a good job of playing the roles for people who presumably didn't watch the show.

"Friends" is hugely popular among young people who weren't born anywhere close to the time it aired. You can stream these shows.

They just did a reboot with Fuller House so the original has some life breathed back into it then.
