Good thing lots of us that are fans of both schools don't have your attitude. I've been a GT fan forever, but this idea that the only smart people in the state are at GT is getting a little old. Plenty of well educated people all over this state.
 
I’m a fan of both. Went to Southern in a transfer to Tech program. Forgot what they called it. Took some of my most difficult courses there, including Thermodynamics.

We are talking about Georgia Southern, which was feeding engineers to Tech for a while, not uga.
 
This is a GT football board. Southern's season is over. Next season, we will have no link to Southern as CPJ and any former Southern coaches will be gone. You have till the 26th to get this shit out of your system.

GT accepted those courses as transfer credits. Got the GT degree with half of courses at Southern. Does that mean I’m only half real engineer?

I believe you can transfer from any state university to the other provided you take the proper prerequisite classes. A former co-worker's daughter years ago transferred from Dalton College to UGAg to finish up a Pharmacy degree. I don't even think they will deny you as long as you have the accepted GPA and the right classes.

Pharmacy is different and weird. Most people take 2 years of undergrad and then have to apply to pharmacy school in the same way you would law or medical school - it requires a specialized test and such.

The really fun part is that pharmacists go to school for 6 years - 2 years of undergrad stuff (which can be an associates degree from community college) and then 4 years of pharmacy school. One of the pharmacy school years is clinical rotations. They also like calling themselves “doctor” now and want the prefix as you would address an MD.

Oh yea! I remember the thread on pharmacists calling themselves doctors now. Something about a party somewhere with pharmacist doctors

that's nice but no one on earth considers Southern to be within 10 rungs of the academic ladder GT is on. The love affair with their high school'ish football team by some "fans" here is bad enough.

they liked to have whipped a pretty good 2014 team if I recall. I damn don't ever wanna play them again because they show up in big games. Call me skeered if you want but them boys can play. And we have everything to lose and nothing to gain by scheduling them. Hell their DL is way better than ours.

No argument re:2014 but many around here are gonna think you're just bashing CPJ's Best Ever Team by pointing out that we probably should've lost to them.

and no argument that we should never schedule them. Hell, your whole post is correct.
