There's nothing wrong with someone changing what occupation they want to pursue. Sometimes you don't figure it out until you start going down a certain career path.

People grow a lot, especially kids. You're thrown into a lot of responsibility and decision making when you're 18. That is an incredibly tender time to make final decisions for everything.
