Did anybody see his combine results? He ran a 4.47 fourty! He just made a ton of cash. This was the fastest time by any linebacker.

I think all the coaches and everyone around GT knew this was going to happen, he's a stud of an athlete and he's an outstanding young man, he will be a great pickup for an NFL team.

I think that of any physical "shortcoming", upper body strength is perhaps the easiest to develop significantly, particularly when you have a frame to begin with like his.

Makes you wonder what our S&C coach was doing with him the past four years...

I thought it was especially strange since Wheeler doubled it (24). Not that I think it matters much. He knows how to use leverage, and he obviously has tremendous lower-body strength and explosion.

Why is everybody so surprised? I kinda like to refer to us as LBU (LineBacker University)

How did Wheeler do in the 40?? I always had the impression that he was faster than Guyton was. Perhaps I was wrong.

he is shiftier which can translate to looking quicker on the field.

remember 40 is straitht line, LB's play in space and run 10 -20 yards the most usually at angles and avoiding blockers. None of that....= the 40.

Gary is athletic as hell, I know him, and he told me he though 4.45...glad to see he hit it. He has VERY long arms, making it tough to lift alot of bench weight in reps; he can lift alot though...
