Foster thinks Stafford would pair well with Georgia Tech product Calvin Johnson, the wide receiver the Lions drafted second overall in 2007.

“I just told him that if he does go there, Calvin’s going to be the best thing going for the next six or seven years in the NFL,” Foster told the Telegraph of Macon, Ga. “It’s going to be amazing to watch. That’s my prediction. From what I’ve seen, there’s nobody that’s going to be able to cover him. (With Stafford) it could be a very productive combination.”
Too bad my fantasy football leagues have a bunch of GT grads in them - so CJ is not a lock come draft time :(

Calvin does need a QB buddy really bad.

QB Buddy, QB Buddy..hum along..

Somebody to play pitch and catch with on the NFL level.

I'm thinking Calvin becomes a major player in need of the right QB. Stafford may be able to toss him some balls.

We'll see.

One thing Stafford does know how to do reliably, is overly depend on one receiver as a crutch.

Could be a match made in heaven.
