Georgia Tech Coaching Staff (As of 12/15)

Who cares what they call you. As long as these guys produce positive results, that’s the only thing that matters.

He closed a recruit less than 24 hours after unofficially taking the job? I don’t see any other GT coaches @‘d in the tweet.

I’m not exactly a recruiting guru but that seems off-the chart amazing.
He offered a kid that he’d been recruiting at his previous school. Not sure it’s special

I honestly don’t know how all that happens in one or two days. Not sorry, but seems this has been brewing for a bit longer than it looks.

He’s a top 50 recruit nationally. All we did was offer him based on a previous relationship. He isn’t on campus or visiting or anything.

So if we have co-coordinators on both sides of the ball, who is actually calling plays?

Is your contention that you haven't seen it mentioned that Thacker and Faulkner were "co"? If so, that's part of my question because I haven't seen that either and you can't have Weinke and Sherrer be "co" if Thacker and Faulkner aren't also "co".
why not it wouldn't be the first time. Sometimes it's a way to pay more to that coach

Agreed. My impression or understanding is Thacker is DC, Faulkner is OC, Sherrer is Co-DC and Wienke is Co-OC.......whatever that is. You can't share coordinator 50/50, someone has to have hand, or be designated 51. Just my .02. And as previously mentioned by others, I'd surmise the "Co" titles have a lot to do with compensation slotting. I don't think there's any gray area in who will have the final say in regards to the defense or the offense other than Key of course, on D it's Thacker and on O it's Faulkner.

The "Co-x" title is the equivalent to an organizational participation trophy.

I keep telling myself not to get too excited about these assistant coaches, but it's hard not to. This is a seems like a great group that can make us competitive again. Next season can't get here soon enough ....

I'm gonna save my accolades until the end of 2023. Derail this hype train before it leaves the station. Pay me in W's fellas then you can get your applause.

I'm not looking for a step up over C*****s, a retard chimpanzee could have delivered better. I'm looking for progress better than what CPJ gave us because that's why he was forced to retire right?

Let’s hope not. Last time we split CB and S into two coaches it was a complete disaster.

New Director of High School Relations:

YUGE!!!!

Heard about this today from my son's PT, who has been the Roswell HS PT for 30 years.
He's best friends with Coach Mac and said he is stoked to get the position. (Left a good HS job after only one year to join or staff)

This will help us tremendously in finding and evaluating talent in GA. Brilliant move by CBK.

So, is Kenyatta Sr still on staff, as well? (hope so)
