Georgia Tech Head Coaches w/Bowl Fun Facts

If I remember correctly we were going to run out of time until Stoops called timeout which gave us enough time to roll out Butker.
Richt did that too in 2014. We were setting up for the FG attempt at the end of regulation and we weren't going to make it. Richt "iced" Butker, but there was already ice in his veins.

O'Leary did not coach the 2001 Seattle Bowl. That was Mac McWhorter.

Bill Curry won the All American Bowl. I think they moved the Hall of Fame Bowl to Tampa the year before. Not to nitpick.

Johnson’s bowl record is one of the only things about his tenure that I really find fault with. We often looked awful in bowl games.

Could have been the “time to prepare” thing, or rust on our side. Could have been punching above our weight in some of them, I guess. Could be malaise from getting shafted by the selection process repeatedly.

JRjr

I think if Nesbitt hadn't gotten injured in 2010 our entire view of CPJ would be different. We would've closed out with wins over uga and afa.

The CFA loss to LSU in 2008 was miserable. Coming off the high of beating UGA for the first time in 7 years (preserving the streak of 8), to being reduced to flying paper airplanes in the Dome.
