The worst look is ööööting all over other programs as "lesser" during the seasons yours sucks ass.

Wake Forest should never win anything yet here they are. Go Deacs!

They are a crappier , lesser, program, all that is true.

We have horribly underperformed, that is also true.

We should never "cheer" for Wake to beat Pitt because we cant, that is also true.

Once you start cheering for Wake to beat Pitt, it makes it seem we are too comfortable with where we are, this sentiment about Wake & Pitt comes on the heels of "we aren't competing with UGA & Clemson"

I'm more worried about a mindset where GT winning seems " less urgent".

I more worried about the cheerleading for wake than where wake is.

Bullshit. Rooting for Wake is rooting for the underdog. It is completely independent of Tech. Not rooting for anyone because we suck doesn’t do a thing. Wake wins, Pitt wins, it has no effect on us.

Pitt’s coach is an arrogant prick. Let him lose.

What if I want to cheer for Wake? You sure know a crap load for only joining ST this year.

I'm just planning on watching what could be an entertaining ACCCG. Maybe I'm in the minority of Tech fans, but I actually like the ACC, and I don't pine for the opportunity to rejoin the SEC. Cheering for Wake doesn't diminish my desire for CGC to right the ship, or change the urgency that the athletic department is feeling right now... Where do you come up with these ideas?

We are GT , located smack in the middle of the Unofficial Official CFB Capital of the World.

We should never root for the underdog, because we should never identify with the underdog.

This is a part of the beaten mindset of GT Fans, we identify with Service Academies and Ga Southern as if that makes us a more attractive destination for better Players and better Coaches.

Newsflash, it doesn't make us more attractive to those 2 critical groups that we sorely need.

Our own heavyweights don't think we compete vs uga and Clemson, not a former Cross Country Runner, a former GT FB Player announced this to the World.

What do think will spread faster, the NBC Graphic, or the words of a heavyweight booster (perceived)?

If it were up to me, they should televise the Pitt v Wake Game on the ACCN to show everyone what ACC Fanbases have to deal with.

Sorry, if I'm not a "root for the underdog" kinda Guy, I bet you cry everytime you watch "Rudy"?

I hate every other Team in our Conference and on our sked, unless there's a selfish reason to root for them, beating Pitt doesn't rise to that level , we play Pitt every year, it's our Job to beat them.
