Well, at least you went from bullshit to absurd. There are a ton of reasons to root for the underdog. But if you don’t great. Root for the front runner. Root for neither. It doesn’t change anything relative to GT. In fact it has nothing to do with GT.

Watch the game though, that will actually impact GT in the slightest way. Then don’t watch the seccg. That will infinitesimally weaken our competition. Neither will move the needle on GT by a cent.

You know this stmt above is false.

Service Academy FB and what Southern is doing is oft repeated and talked about around these parts.

Everything you disagree with isn't dwag trolling, or any other kind of trolling for that matter.

Talking CFB should be fun, it should be easy, things shouldn't be this strained.
 
Since when pulling FOR the underdog makes you AN underdog? That's just plane stupid. I'll pull for Wake cause I've got a close friend that played for Wake. I'll pull for Wake cause I can't stand Pitts arrogant coach. I'll pull for Wake cause most people won't and I like being an outlier. If you disagree, so what, it's not going to have any effect on me. But either way, I, nor anyone else, need your approval PM.
 
The ACC is a horrible football conference. It is even worse now that the SEC has become The official AAA organization of the NFL. Georgia Tech hast to get out of the ACC or recruit some big teams like Ohio State, Penn State and Michigan. I would rather go to the Big Ten. But the ACC sucks.

It's all cyclical. The ACC will be better soon with better coaching. Making yourself miserable by regurgitating SEC network talking points about the ACC when you have absolutely no power to impact conference realignment one iota is a recipe for continuous self-induced misery.

FWIW, you were the one scolding people for pulling for “lesser” teams because it reflects poorly on Tech. What does it matter who people pull for in a conference championship game? The real sad fact is the programs that should be carrying the ACC banner; Clemson, FSU, Miami, GT, and VT have all stumped their own toe. That isn’t Wake’s fault

I agree 100%, about Teams having an off year

I pull for GT and no one else, nothing is more emasculating than to root for someone else to do your bidding, "I hate Pitt's HC, so I'm pulling for Wake"

That's a BS mindset, it's our job kick Pitt's teeth in next season, not pull for Wake to do our bidding.

My issue was hoping that Wake would beat Pitt cause we hate their HC, that goes beyond having a preference as to who wins.

Preferring 1 Team to win is normal Sports Fan stuff, saying , "we must support Wake cause they're the Underdog, and we have to support all underdogs and I hate Pitt's HC , so please go win Wake and do our bidding for us" is creepy and entering wuss territory.
