Gold Jerseys here now!

I'm sorry, but its not old gold (as was already discussed) and I already have some jerseys from last year. Why is the design different? I liked the stripes across the front.

I don't care what exact color it is, that's why I referred to it as just 'gold'.

If you want to discuss what exact color we should wear or what exact color old gold is, go ahead and start another thread.

What I need to know is 'are the gold jerseys at the bookstore yet?'
 
Wow, they took a bad design and made it worse. For the love of God, we need a GT fashion school or something. Is this seriously our "home jersey"? Really? At least last year I could say that the color was looking nice. Now, we're back to braineless beige. **** me.
 
we look like ucf. eww. i can live with the white one, but i hope we never wear this one or that the authentic ones look a lot better. the "dazzle" gold and white parts make it look like lingerie. again eww.
 
I thought I didn't really care what the jerseys looked like until I saw this two-toned job. Shiny at the shoulders/arms and dull below? God almighty. Is it a third grade dance rehearsal or a football game? Surely this is just a fan jersey and the team won't wear this.

Mark me down as thoroughly unimpressed. I thought we made some great strides with the all white look last year. That looked sharp, or at least as good as these terrible uniforms could. God, why can't we simply use the throwbacks? We run an old school offense, shouldn't we look old school?

We need to dump Russell in a hurry.

I don't care as long as it's gold-ish and looks mostly ok. I can't even say 'I understand you'; because I don't understand, I don't care I guess. But, of course, you have a right to complain.
Just to make sure your (everyone not just Allen) complaints don't go to waste, make sure to email dRad about them and feel free to give him links of what you think should be the uniform.
 
The replicas never look as good as the real ones; as I recall the gold was way shinier on the replicas than it was on what the players wore last year.

If the blue jerseys weren't made this year, then we will see these gold ones if any of our home opponents refuse to let us wear white. I know Wake did that in the late eighties one year when we were wearing white at home otherwise.

I don't think I have any particular dislike of these, but them again I've never liked any gold jersey I've seen us wear except the throwbacks.
 
I vote for the all white uni everygame. Those did look sharp last year!

I love the Jackets and all --but dam#, that is one ugly gold jersey.

When GT wears colored jersey's, I'd much rather go with the throwbacks with the white helmet. For white jersey's, the combo worn during the 1990 championship season --see BuzzCzar's avatar.
 
ugly as hell- why don't we stick to the plain white jersey and gold pants we have worn most of the time- it's simply and sharp...how can you get a damn uniform wrong year after year.?

That was my first thought when I saw that jersey. "Looks like UCF."
 
If we put these on for our game against the mutts, then- for once- Uga won't be ugliest piece of **** on the field. Oh, what am I saying, even those jerseys aren't as ugly as that inbred thing is.

I think that is the key with gold jerseys. I've never seen one I liked except the throwbacks and the helmet made the difference. Since maintaining two different helmets is probably too much to ask (has any team ever done that?) we would probably have to wear white helmets with white jerseys as well. I think that might look pretty good but I suspect there would be an uproar over dropping the gold helmets.

In general no one has problems with white jerseys but even if we settled on them home and away opponents can always say we can't wear them for a home game and have to have an alternative.

The remaining alternatives (blue and at one point in our history black) seem to cause even more fury with fans who think our song limits us to white and gold jerseys only, or believe in voodoo or something and think they cause losses.
