We were the highest-ranked one-loss team in the country... 10-1 and ranked #7. How is that not "really good"?@JJacket picture above looks like what I remember. We weren't "really good", we had won one in Athens after a very long losing streak and were favored in the game. The Gold/Red ratio was probably better during the end of O'leary's tenure when UGA was coached by Donnan.

Not to mention those are the east stands, where the west stands are usually mostly tech fans.I took this pic

I'm just weary of all the revisionist bullshit from people saying "it's always been this way"
2019 is the worst it's ever been*. Not even just UGA but overall attendance numbers for the season.
*attended every UGA game at BDS since 1997 except for 2017.
Well certainly, but in the past 25 years that was a high water mark for our team (evaluated at the time of a UGA game at Grant Field), so it's a valid point of comparison.Because it was a short streak. If you want to change the stadium significantly you need to have more that one prior win over UGA. I would be willing to bet we had more Gold in the stadium in 2001 after the third time we beat UGA during the O'leary years. It was better in 2009 than it was this year though.
