Golden is out at da U

öööö I was really hoping we would get to play them as they unraveled under his watch.

If he could have only blocked a FG and ran it back for a TD against FSU.......he would have been.....dare I say...golden

If Miami brings someone else in to try to resurrect their past instead of stripping the program down and starting new, they're going to repeat this cycle forever.

My condolences to the large banner and small plane rental business in Miami.

Al Golden had business skyrocketing lately.

Just saw this on the bottom of the screen as I watched the ESPNU replay of our game.

Not surprised, but otherwise not sure how I should feel. Hopefully dark days continue at Miami for a long time.

Couldn't happen to a more deserving bunch of assholes.

I admit I was a little surprised by this, but after that woodshed moment that Clemson laid upon them, that would turn up the heat on any coach's seat. Al Golden's just got too hot and blew up! The U will continue to be the U with their longing to be the dynasties they had in the 80's and 90's, and even early 2000's. The program has slid into mediocrity, and that is story.

Hire, fail, suffer, fire, repeat. Everything Miami has ever gotten is by cheating. Our NC titles were not bought. Eff 'em.

I'm nervous already. Can they really hire 4 bad coaches in a row? I doubt it. They might start running öööö again. We could end up longing for the days when we were ööööö footing aroung with vt.

The next logical step is for Miami to put out an actual gang hit on Jimbo Fisher and try to pay their players to defect. They then drop the scholarship system in favor of blood-in, blood-out.

Is Miami going to hire another coach that likes to wear an orange tie and white oxford shirts that are two sizes too big?

Why would anyone do that in 95 degree weather?

What a retart.

Every name I have heard thrown out as a replacement for Golden is connected to the Miami of old.

He somehow manages to look less professional in "dress clothes" than Bill Belichick does in a torn up hoodie.

My point exactly.

Perhaps he was trying to like like a tool. If so, mission accomplished.

Jesus. Let them keep trying, I'm happy to see Miami permanently take Duke's place in the basement. That program is an absolute mess and the fact that in 2015 they've still yet to make any real progress towards modernity aside from the fact that the pro stadium they're currently squatting in is being renovated tells me that they won't be joining the ranks of the decent anytime soon.
