Exactly, I would rather go to Maryland or South Carolina before I would take the Miami job. The facilities down there are a joke, much less the dumpster fire that the Miami program is now.
 
Their Scout message board is pretty funny. Most of it unintentional, but some of it intentional.

In response to the thread titled "GT beats FSU on last play" the second post in the thread is "We back?" That had me lol'ing.

Most of the board is creaming over Butch Davis. Haven't seen any other names really thrown around over there.
 
I've heard that Richt is on a plane heading to Miami. Makes sense - he's the type that would want to leave his legacy at his Alma Mater. Lord knows the dwags don't appreciate him.
 
I think Rich Rod is going to be moving either here or USCe.

He'd be a great coach for them.

It's overrated. I was pretty disappointed the first time I went. Probably went about 10-15 times and the only thing worth mentioning is to know a promoter. The guy I know stopped, so not a destination I'll be spending much time in.

I might be wrong, but I just don't see Richt fitting in with the Miami culture. Even though Fsu and Miami are the only 2 schools I would ever see him leaving Athens for. Although a loss to Florida this weekend and hopefully a loss to us in a month might make things a little interesting.

This is the only reason I'm hoping Georgie doesn't fire Richt this year. Fuentes is a great coach. But Miami we're a better program on every level (facilities, fan support, finances, coaching, alumni, etc) except talent -- and our other advantages make up for that.

Duke will find it easier to replace Cutcliffe than Miami will find to hire a great experienced HC. Miami will have to hire a coordinator. Maybe Bud Foster if he's afraid that Beamer's nepotism will put his son in as HC.

I hate Miami. Their program, most of their fans, and most of their former players and boosters are garbage. I was hoping we'd get them falling apart at the end of the year under Golden, but instead we'll probably catch them in a dead cat bounce as they get hyped up to play for the interim guy.

He would be a good coach at Miami because he wouldn't hesitate to cheat to make sure he won.
