Good teams don't lose two in a row....

The point is to score more than the other team. Yes, long term we have to improve and the staff is working on it (see today's article in the AJC) but you can't completely change things overnight. You also can't cut guys and sign free agents like the pros so you have to work with the players you have and figure out how to use them more effectively. The other thing to consider is that fixing things against one team may not work against the next one because of their relative strengths. It's a constant chess match.
How do we matchup against UNC---where will we have advantages against them that were maybe disadvantages against Miami?

Don't know Yukon, but I'm sure there are people on here who can tell you. My initial impression of UNC is their offense is not as good as Miami's. Their D has looked good, but they haven't played against a good offense yet.

Wow, I'm reading post of selling season tickets and we're screwed and this team is horrible and blah blah blah. I'm disappointed, I've heard so much crap from UGA fans this week that these posts remind me of Dawg fans. If you are that type fan go to Athens.
Remember this, we are building something here, CPJ is in his second year, needs to get players that he wants and get the kinks worked out. The school is dOing things to help build the program as well and either your a Jacket or not. Win, or lose fellas!
As a Jacket we know we are not going to win every game, we thrive on the upsets. UGA folks just want to say we beat ya'll so many more times and this and that. The facts are we 've played them close for the most part, they have 5 star recruits all over the place. They have more money and bigger facilities and everything. I'm proud our boys play them tough ,on paper we shouldn't even be allowed to share the fieLd with these BIG EGO'S!
So man up people and be a Jacket no matter what.
Support our team and give the coach time to work things out!We all know we don't have Gailey anymore and CPJ doesn't play.

Yates is a good passer, but not as good as what we saw at Miami. Their offensive line is not a team strength - we must get pressure on the passer. Their RB's are average - Draughn is pretty good. I noticed on Saturday he loves to pirouette when he confronts the first tackler. He made ECU miss a lot. We need to pursue him and when he turns back around to avoid a tackler - BOOM!

Their defensive backfield is not great - Deaunta Williams probably the best. I think Thomas can catch some deep balls against them. I also think we need some quick passes to the outside as well as slants when we split two wide to a side. Catch the ball and block the Dbacks and you will move the chains. The slant was there for ECU.

Running straight at them is much more effective than running outside. We have to get to the corner quickly. Their front 7 is not just very good but deep - they rotate fresh people in. Quinn at end is so much better than last year - he is just a soph. Block Austin low, but don't give him so much attention that you forget the other tackle - Aleric Mullins killed us last year.
