Got another S/QB?

Days is very smooth under center of the triple option. He's got a good read on the offense and knows what he is doing. His weakness is passing. He has a long way to go in that area. A positive is that he has done great at our camps. Could also play DB or LB. Very happy to have him.
 
How good is his brother that he mentions in the ajc article? Thought I had heard somewhere that he is even better...
 
holy crap, did you see that kid's burst? he is super fast. I don't know about his arm, but he is probably the fastest bursting QB I've ever seen. He's a big guy too. I've seen Jaybo's video when he was in high school and it doesn't even compare. I wasn't excited until i saw the vid of him playing.

Just think, he'll have two more years of practice running that before he even starts with us.

Is the film speed on those highlights normal? Good grief!
 
This kid is a good pick up, but he won't make it one year at the QB position. He'll be a Safety or maybe a LB if he grows some more.

I heard that CPJ told Days he would play QB. I understand where you're coming from Rum, but this kid has all the skills and they are not easy to come by.

2 more years and Tech is going to be a machine !!

Have you actually watched Synjyn in a game? He has been one of the best players in Cobb since he was a freshman. He has been running the option for years now and does it well, if he can adjust to the college game and improve some on his passing reads then he could do very well.

Hes a long stridder. If he doesn't play QB looks like a natural A back to me. A big "A back".

He seems more quick than great top-end speed though. Doesn't really pull away downfield, but great acceleration in the 0-40 yard range.

Something tells me he still won't beat Cox as the "big" A-back.
 
And Cox won't beat out Alllen. Its irrelevant either way as they will be gone when Days is ready to play.
