What grade do you give Brent Key's performance as Georgia Tech head coach?

The season is over... time for grades

Entire tenure as head coach, not just this past season
 
By all rights he should have an A. We should have officially beaten Georgia which in my mind always take a season to an A.
 
I want to be able to give him an A...and the turn around from what GT was just a few years ago have been remarkable. He's obviously a great motivator and both the mental and physical toughness of the team has been top tier since Key has taken the job. He's also made some stellar hires and recruiting appears to be continuously improving. The fact that the SEC had to pay or instruct their refs to steal the game against the dwags is, IMNSHO, a point in Key's favor.

That being said, there's still significant room for improvement in consistency and clock management. Also I ding the overall grade a bit when the team seemed to lose focus when the bowl game when the refs started following the same script as the game against the stupid inbred, dumb shit, lying, useless, goddamn pieces of trash over in Earth's enema hole to the east. If they pull that game out, or at least force the refs to keep cheating through the second half instead of imploding, I might bump it up to an A.

As it stands, a high B seems fair.
 
Considering the mess he took over I would give him an A. Same for the AD and president.
 
Next 2 years will decide the true direction of the program. So far CBK and his staff have stabilized the program, and are recruiting at a Top 25 level. No less than 8-9 regular season wins in 2025, with a shot at 10.
 
I gave him a solid B. Given the past coach was a D- or F, two and a half seasons of solid B coaching is tremendous improvement. Given that we have not beaten Georgia, not played in the conference title game, and not had double digit wins in a season, I don’t believe Brent would want to get an A just yet.
 
Obvious A.

Looking forward to off-season upgrades to his home office setup, though. A Tecmo Bowl next to the Super Mario Brothers 3, would get him up to A+.
