You said that we had success against unc but other teams roasted our D we had a problem with running 2 different schemes which made our D have even more problems than needed
 
News flash. The D has been good once since Tenuta (way back in 2008). Stop acting like this is something new. Difference over the last 3 years has been the spread option O isn’t there to bail out the D.

Yeah. I said our D was good for one game and got TOs against UNC. But I didn't get into which scheme was used when.
Frankly, it wouldn't have mattered what scheme we ran out there. It was going to get blistered.

Your not wrong but not having continuity in what we run can definetly cause some issues communication wise.
 
Two wins are very possible without a HUGE step up by a lot of guys. and coaches.

We ended up 3-3-3-3. 3 wins, 3 losses, 3 blowouts, 3 coulda won. He's Chan material. He did the same in 2019. If not for Covid, he might have pulled off a superfecta 3-3-3-3 trifecta. Imagine the oods on that!

I hear you but last year's team set a new standard for confusion in the seconday with receivers just running free with no one around. Walton even hinted that there were some "issues" with communication. If anybody know more, let us know.

On other boards there were hints suggesting dereliction, not confusion...which sounds plausible. If you're "confused" after playing the position for four years total and three with the same coaches and faces on the field around you, well...yeah. You're just admitting you aren't teachable.

They said Burton and Popovich had their CBs and Safeties working out of different rooms, which caused the communication breakdown. That is supposed to change now with Tillman having responsibility for all DBs.

Something turned a secondary with a bright future into a liability three years later. My money’s on the coaches.
