After all the big plays, Tevin Washington finally had it easy.

He dropped to his knee a couple of times, then celebrated with thousands of Georgia Tech students who stormed the field.

Washington rushed for 176 yards -- the most ever by a Yellow Jackets quarterback -- and broke the two longest runs of his career, leading a 31-17 upset of Clemson (No. 5 BCS, No. 6 AP) that likely snuffed out the Tigers' national title hopes Saturday night.

Probably one of the most fun games I’ve ever taken part in - from the tailgate until we hit the field at the end, this one was a great time.

"I know a lot of people are disappointed that wrote us off," coach Paul Johnson said sarcastically. "Let us finish the season before you do our tombstone."

Was the next week the one where Sneezy went upside Logan Thomas' head and gave them a first down and they never looked back?
Goddamnit. Aside from the Miami game (and the f'in Mutts), the O was clicking that year. How in ööööall did we lose to Utah in the bowl game? Goddamnit.
Still, a good memory from that season, beating Clemson. We got to No. 20 after that win, no?

Love him or hate him, CPJ let his players set the tone for a season instead of doing it top-down. It made for a lot of head scratching seasons where we would take out a top 5 team and fall apart after a couple losses.

Can you elaborate more on this please? Because last time I checked, our gameplan at UVA+Miami was total crap.
