Grobe to Baylor?...

yellowjacket,

While I've certainly had my doubts about some of the moves the coaching staff has made this year, I don't see how you can call this coaching staff worthless already. They've put together a relatively good season overall and I don't see how you (or beeware for that matter) can claim that O'Leary and the bunch would have done any better. Frankly, I think O'Leary was wearing out his welcome last year because he showed is a## when the team started to fall apart on him. Last year's team quit and this year's team did not. You tell me who is the better staff.

that is an easy one...I think we definitely did more this year with less talent than last years team.

I was no fan of O'Leary's performance last year..I agree, the team did let down toward the end of the season. I just think that Gailey put together a questionable staff; has made some bonehead decisions that cost us two games (Clemson and Wake); has failed to "coach up" either of our QB's; refuses to give Bilbo any significant playing time and refuses to take any blame for anything that goes wrong. I would like to see Gailey be a big success butI think he will have to make some changes to his staff and have an excellent recruiting season if that is going to happen. The jury is out but the verdict will becoming in soon. Oh btw...a win over georgia would go a long way to changing my mind!

I agree with you but he was bound to make stupid mistakes his first year back in college. I don't think he realized just how different the college game was going to be and that is why his transition has been a little rougher than some expected (including him). The real test will be this offseason with recruiting and realigning his staff.

The single biggest problem that needs to be solved is getting the QB position up to par. That will restore a lot of confidence in this offense, IMHO.
