Wow. Is State actually decent?
 
This game reminded me a lot of PJ's last game here, team was dead. We only had 135 yards rushing against one of the worst defenses in the country and completed 6 passes with 2 INTs.

I wonder if Fritz is gone...
 
And the only team from the great state of Georgia not going bowling is...............

Gone where? He won't get canned after winning 17 games in the first two seasons.

But this loss was inexcusable. Absolutely inexcusable. The nation's No. 1 rushing offense got outgained on the ground by a team that is ranked near the bottom of 128 in the nation.

If Southern doesn't play better, it will get the crap kicked out of it in a nobody cares but hardcore Southern fans bowl game against some MAC team.
 
Absolutely stunning... Maybe the near miss against UGA was too much of a downer. Either way, Pantherca$h ftw!

Gone as in gone to a bigger school. Was the allusion to PJ and Navy not enough? :rolleyes:
 
The GA Southernnplayers went out the night before and got totally S-faced.

At least that's what I'm hearing. Similar to what Kenny Anderson did at the 1990 Final Four in Denver.

It's not very often that a three touchdown underdog wins by four touchdowns.

No, since PJ's last game was a semifinal game against Furman (now that's a rival. Ga State wants to be one. Furman at the time was one) and the team most certainly was not dead that day - led 17-7 at the half before the kickoff that ricocheted off one of the upmen and then the crap fumble on the next kickoff (our guy was sitting on the ground with the ball in his hands, Furman guy took it from him, refs gave possession to Furman).

Yesterday didn't remind me of PJ's last game at all.

and as if a bigger school would come fishing for Fritz now.

Georgia Southern players did that the night before the 89 national championship game against Stephen F. Austin.

Won it anyway.
 
This win shocks me more than anything else this entire screwed-up season. I went to espn.com to check if it was a hoax.

This makes Georgia State the best team in Georgia. Georgia Southern and Georgia tied and went to overtime, so they are even. We lost to Georgia. We are all losers. Football is a joke in the state of Georgia.
