GT - 3 1/2

If we can put any pressure at all on that QB he is going to make mistakes. He can’t throw deep with any accuracy and makes dumb decisions. So we should be as aggressive as possible.

He is mobile and decent in the short/medium range. So hopefully we don’t sit back. I could see our secondary having to defend forever with him dodging our front 4.

I too think we were better than Pitt , sometimes the better team loses, recall us beating much better UGA teams as an illustration..I think we were better than USF but it is hard to overcome 2 KO TD returns. Clemson was better than us .

Louisville looked okay, since they were playing the college football equivalent of a severe burn victim. But Petrino is a bad coach. Like should be coaching at Tennessee bad. They should have beaten FSU.

I will say this with full understanding of how ugly our team is right now - we’re the best team that Louisville has faced this season so far.
Better than Bama? I like your confidence.

Better teams do lose. It happens.

But we weren’t better than usf. They were a shoe string tackle away from scoring 3 consecutive kickoff returns. Their special teams were just better. Our D is still coming together. USF’s D was in our backfield all day long. Yeah, we got yards, but those turnovers were forced. Our qbs and abacks run with the ball away from their body. That is why we lost to tennessee and why we lost to usf. Our guys should hold that ball closer than their incognito browser history.

We weren’t better than pitt. The only thing that kept them from rushing for 300 yards through the A gap in the first half was the length of the field.

I love CPJ and the Jackets, but this ‘better team’ crap is costing us games. We need to play like we need to be perfect to win. We need to out hustle other teams because they are more talented.

This better team mentality is what got us shit canned at 6 losses in a row Duke last year. The mentality of X plays away from being undefeated is why we experienced bowl season via direct tv.

We won’t be the better team in Louisville on Friday. We damn sure better play like we’re the underdog with nothing to lose.

We played a hell of a lot better against USF, should have won that game no question, but beat ourselves. USF is a good/solid team.

We are better than Pitt but played like dogshit.

What a crock of shit. USF is a good team, but we had them beat. Pitt is awful, and we deserved to get embarrassed. Clemson, no explanation needed. And we are absolutely better than Louisville, just need to go execute like we did Saturday.

Louisville will definitely win this game. It's so ööööing stupid that a game against bowling green provided hope to many on this board.

So basically, you're saying he's going to be 30-35 with 4TDs and 350+ yards.

I'm with you, especially since they opened with Alabama.

Surprising, unless their qb from the fsu game got hurt, we are going to have trouble. He could hit the slant across the middle and was very mobile. We haven’t handled either of those things well.

And until I see our ol actually get some push on a called dive past the first quarter, I don’t see us moving the ball well against a not ööööty team.

In short, until our ol or defensive front 7 show they can handle a team not nursing a 3 td lead, I’m skeptical.

Well said,
apparently 63 pts impressed vegas (didn't notice where and who we were playing)

The way UL played FSU, we should have plenty of chances if we get to the edges and pitch. They didn’t tackle well in space.

I expect a high scoring game. Being sloppy with the ball will be deadly.
