GT-FSU 8pm

So we have back to back night games on the road prior to your matchup with VT. Great ...

Gameday? Give me a break, FSU wont be ranked and Gameday tries to take the best ranked match up on the weekend. This past weekend with PSU and Iowa St. is the exception, not the rule.

And the scheduling excuses are starting three weeks before the game is even played! This must be some sort of record. If the days are normal we might as well bitch about the times.

Gameday is at FSU and BC this weekend. So I wouldn't say they always look for the best ranked matchups.

Iowa as in Hawkeyes, as in the same team that did it to them last year...

Hawkeyes hand Nittany Lions first blemish -- again

Apparently they are honoring Mark Herzlich and that is the reason for the odd choice.

GT just beat the fool out of a ranked team and moved up just 1 spot in the polls because nobody saw it. Basically didn't get recognized and are still being punished for Miami loss that everyone saw. Having a potential national TV prime time game is a good thing if we can pull out the W.

Hey, they aren't excuses. They are gripes. Look, regardless of if we are playing at 2AM or 2PM, we must be prepared to play at that time ... period. This is college football. When you start to play in the spotlight, more of your games get moved to that late night slot. If we want to succeed and gain national respect, we have to get used to playing at night. I am not an excuses type. When we lost to Miami, I was one of the first to call BS on the 3 games in 13 games mess that people kept talking about.

no way in hell Gameday will be at Tech that week when UF-LSU seems like the logical choice for them

Everybody knows that GT/FSU games are always great to watch so i could see gameday being there especially the way we beat FSU last year.

Yeah it'll be there because of the "OMG Teabow playing or is he not? O he's not? Dats ok, we got plenty of SEC speed anyway"

Good! We will be battle tested and ready to beat VT. I think this is a good thing. This team needs confidence. They got a lot this weekend. We will need more and we will get it at Miss St. at night and FSU at night. Bout time we stopped running from a challenge and say "Hey mother fu****s, if you want us at night at your place then I guess we will just have to beat the hell out of you at night at your place!!!!!"

I may just be ignorant, but what's so bad about night games? Other than pumped up opposing fan bases.

It'll probably be there since it will likely be a matchup of top 5 teams :p.

Nah, no one will use that reason anymore. So many top 5 teams have lost that if you bet on a good game cause of that you get Ole Miss / SC.
