I just found out that Frankies at Prado is no more. I used to watch all the GT games there a couple years ago till I got HDTV. I was wondering where the new place to go is. I loved Frankies that it would always be full of GT fans. I just didn't like the fact that their big screen look liked crap.

Try Bobby Dodd Stadium. It was rocking Thursday night. Of course that's not an option this Thursday.

Really? Some students should ask Bud to open the stadium for the game like Clough did a few years back for us. That was a fun night, if you don't count the football game.

Especially with that new video board with the stupid name.

Clough, for as much as he supposedly hated football, was great about that. He opened up the stadium, showed the game on the big screen, gave us all hotdogs, and hung out with us for a bit.

I would hope that Bud would do the same thing, as it was a great way to get some school spirit going.

Midtown Tavern by the intersection of Piedmont and North shows our games on a projector...or at least they did last year, I'll have to ask the owner if he's going to this year again.

Pretty sure he is. I think they were showing the game during the Clemson game on Thursday.

Me and my dad went there right after the game as Engine 11 was PACKED (with Clemson fans drowning in their sorrows), and we got big GO JACKETS from the bar tender!

I love that place.

Rocky Mountain pizza is also a big GT place. Saw the BC game there last year and had a big time. Cheap beer specials too.

3 dollar cafe between Wieuca and Windsor on Roswell Road isn't bad. It's not a "Tech" bar but it's good for away saturday games. Lots of TV's. I like Rocky Mountain the most, though, cheap beer and food.
