Kevin Tuminello was picked for the Ohio all-star game.
He was a selection for the North Ohio team that played South Ohio. The game was played June 21, last Sat, but I can't find an update on the game. Anyway, KT may be a much better prospect than was originally suspected in these parts, as he was our only recruit not from the deep South. To be picked for an all-star game in Ohio means you have to be a pretty highly thought of HS player. Ohio is a big state & puts the 4th most div1a players on teams (behind Tex, Cal & Fla)( Ga is 5th, but 1st in per capita). The Ohio game is the longest running all-star gm in the nation & will be played in Columbus (Oh St). It's quite an honor for Tuminello.
Here is the roster for the Ohio All-Star game:

KaMicheal Hall was chosen for Texas' all-star Bayou Bowl. Congratulations to young Mr Hall for being selected to play in the inaugural Bayou Bowl in Houston on June 21(last Sat nite)!! The All-Star game matched Stars from Texas against the Louisiana stars. A real big honor for KaMicheal as he played against the best from La. Texas won 32-29 as they kicked a FG on the last play of the game.
KaMicheal was also chosen as 1 of 4 Tex team captains: Hall is a Texas captain
If GT has any injuries at LB, KH will be pushed on the field in his Fr yr. He may anyway on STs. It looks as if he was well thought of in Tex & should be able to help Tech sooner rather than later.
Here's an article on the Tex roster which mentions Hall:

Eddy Parker to play in Texas No-So all-star game.
EP was selected to play for the South team in the Tex N-S all-star gm to be played in Ft Worth the end of July. He was picked by the Tex HS Coaches Asso. Quite an honor for Eddy as Texas is the #1 producer of div1a football talent, barely edging California.
Parker will come into Tech as no worse than a #3 OT to begin with. As injuries take their toll, Eddy could actually see the field before the end of his Fr yr. Let's hope he gets to rs, but GT may need him sooner than later.

I really think this class of incoming recruits are going to be better than most people think, but only time will tell.
