GT @ Pitt Prediction Thread

I'm not expecting a win or even a close game. If you thought we were going to lose by x points a week ago, we're still gonna lose by x points. In the words of an old coach, "It is what it is."

That said, I DO expect Key and the other coaches to have these guys playing with the same intensity and focus they had in the first three quarters of the Clemson game.

I disagree. I think the punt block problems can be fixed in a week. The punts may suck, but they won’t be blocked. Plus, I think not playing to keep the score down will pay benefits. Finally, I think Key should direct Sims to run more. And yank him if he runs out of bounds on 3rd down two yards shy of the marker.

Not to say that swings a win against Pitt, but it makes a difference in beating the spread.

Not to give anyone false hope but apparently the only thing worse than our redzone offese is Pitt's redzone defense.

They've allowed 13 scores in 14 opponent redzone possessions so far this year.

I predict that they will block a punt and we will lose, 31-20. Unfortunately, it will be 31-6 at the beginning of the 4th when they put in their backups and we get 2 garbage TDs.
