Was just at Anchor Bar(invention place of the buffalo wing) and got to yell a "go jackets!" to a guy in a coach style GT shirt.

Just got a thumbs up but I think I caught him off guard.

Just thought I'd share.

Any chance this guy looks like Mr Clean with a bald head big muscles and a huge smile on his face?

If so - that's my buddy Dave who makes it down a few times a year and calls GT his "Happy Place" Played WR at Canesius but looks more like a LB.

If you didn't get a heck of a response, it might have been his brother wearing his shirt.

I wouldn't ask but Buffalo is not that big of a place.

If he's was black it might have been John Guy, the Bills player personell sp? guy who coach here back in the 80's. by the way why do you keep going back to the anchor bar? there are so many other places that have better wings.

We also got a "Go Jackets" at the Getty Center in Los Angeles this weekend.

I was wearing a wind breaker with GT on the breast. He was wearing a GT hat. He was a Tech alum now living in North Carolina.

A co-worker on vacation in Upper Pennisula of Michigan, visits an uncle who is wearing a "Buzz" emblem ball cap. She says, "I didn't know you were a Georgia Tech fan." He wasn't. Was clueless. Saw the hat in a store while he was traveling in Indiana, liked it, bought it.

You gotta forgive the guy a little bit. It's not like he has a football team worth mentioning in his own state.

(Sorry - as an Ohio State fan...I have to take opportunities like this)

No one will rebuke you after the Assassination in Anne Arbor.

Enjoy it while it lasts... EDIT: Because Michigan is Michigan and it won't last.

Colleage of mine has a son headed to Oregon on a baseball scholly. I saw him one day wearing a Buzz ballcap ('cept Buzz was facing the wrong direction). Turns out a local summer club league has co-opted our beloved mascot.
